If you would like to email your full name and passport number, we can follow up with an immigration adviser.
I have also sent you an email to the address supplied.

The application fee has been clearly debited from my account. I didn’t write down the application ID thinking I would receive it via email but when I now try to retrieve it I don’t receive any emails. I travel on 28/04. Would you have any advice on how I can check on status of my application?

I’m so sorry your message got stuck in my spam folder. Have you travelled already? You shouldn’t have a probem traveling a couple of days earlier… But let me know if you have any questions?

[We answered this query via WhatsApp but for other travelers, I add a summary of how we addressed the issue].

My first thought was that Orlando would need to get a Uganda tourist visa. Approval can be quite quick. It can even be same day. The approval can be accelerated by an immigration expert, for a small fee. (Since traveller only had two days before departure, he did decide to apply for Ugandan tourist visa as well, “to feel more secure.”

I forwarded the question to an immigration expert. He says you can be issued your EATV “from any place” (so in this case, not only Kenya). Good to know!

We indicated that we would arrive via Cyanika and put in the date of arrival. Now we want to arrive a day or two earlier. The evisa document only says it’s valid for 90 days from issuance but has no dates on it.
Will we have any trouble arriving a day or two earlier than we indicated on the application form?

Hi Hassana, have you managed to resolve the issue? Apologies for slow reply…

I applied for a tourist visa earlier this month and my application was deferred with the “Attach Invitation Letter: LC1 Recommendation Letter and Host Status”.
I will be initially staying at a hotel, which I submitted my confirmation details for but still got the deferral notification again, so then got a friend who is Ugandan to write a letter, but again received a deferral notification.

I would really appreciate any advice

Thanks

I applied for a East Africa Tourist Visa via the Kenyan immigration website and it has already been approved. Nevertheless I just realised that the first point of entry should be Kenya and on my travel itinerary my first destination is Uganda.

I was wondering if there is anything that I can do to solve this or if it will represent a major problem for traveling? Or if you recommend applying separately for an Ugandan E tourist visa? I am just not sure if it will be approved before my flight as the date is really close.

Thank you in advance for the attention and support. Please let me know any questions or thoughts on this.

Kind regards,

Orlando

Hi, if you can email me your application number, I can ask my immigration adviser why it was cancelled.
However, it does sound like you will need to apply for another one and pay again.

A couple of months ago I applied for a Ugandan visa , paid and also received it. We are visiting Uganda next week. Today however I received an email that my application has been cancelled :(.
I think I applied for it too soon, but does this mean I lost my money and should apply for a new one?
Thanks in advance!
